Anyone know a decent amount about cars?
In particular Volkswagens. My car is just about to shit the bed so I’ve been on the hunt recently and I’ve been emailing a guy back and forth from Craigslist for a few days now. He has a 2003 GTI with 104xxx miles on it. He’s asking 7000 for it. The thing is, I’m a fairly high mileage driver so the fact that it has that many miles scares me. Could anyone tell me if it’s worth buying or am I going to be stuck with a car that’s going to cost me more in repairs in the next year than it did to buy it?
